I am the CEO and Co-Founder of El Paj Gardens Limited, a purpose-driven agribusiness transforming Kenya’s poultry sector through innovation, sustainability, and inclusive economic growth. My leadership philosophy is anchored in value creation, systems thinking, and people-centered enterprise, where business success goes hand-in-hand with community empowerment and environmental stewardship.
I founded El Paj Gardens to demonstrate that agribusiness can be profitable, ethical, climate-smart, and socially impactful. As a leader, I balance strategic vision with operational discipline, building resilient systems that can scale while remaining grounded in local realities.
Under my leadership, El Paj Gardens has grown into a modern poultry enterprise supplying high-quality, safe, and consistent eggs to households and institutions, contributing directly to food security and nutrition.
One of our most significant innovations is the creation of Zari Organic Fertilizer, a circular-economy product that converts poultry waste into high-value organic fertilizer. This initiative:
- Reduces environmental pollution from poultry waste
- Improves soil health and farm productivity
- Supports climate-smart agriculture
- Demonstrates sustainable waste-to-value business models
Through Zari, El Paj Gardens has positioned itself not only as a poultry producer, but as a solutions provider within the agri ecosystem.
My leadership intentionally prioritizes women and youth inclusion. El Paj Gardens creates dignified employment, skills development opportunities, and mentorship for young people and women within the agricultural value chain. I actively advocate for agriculture as a viable, aspirational career path, especially for women—challenging traditional narratives that exclude them from agribusiness leadership.
Beyond operations, I engage in partnerships with farmers, agribusiness networks, and development stakeholders to strengthen local systems and promote sustainable practices at scale.
As CEO, I have established strong governance structures, transparent financial management, and a clear growth strategy focused on:
